GRAPH-TEX POWDER FOR TEXTILE

GRAPH-TEX is Single Shot additive of graphene monolayer modified with GNS in which GNS compounded with Graphene Oxide. An emerging material in the carbon family, Graphene Nano scroll are rolls of graphene single/Few layers in rolled forms and has shown super lubricity and large current sustainability, surpassing the properties of monolayer Graphene itself.

  • Enhance Strength :  GRAPH-TEX helps fabric/thread to enhance the resistance towards tearing, abrasion and wear. Graphene is a sustainable and an eco-friendly solution for textile and multi-application.
  • Anti-Odour :  When your sweat comes in contact with the bacteria on your skin. Sweat itself doesn’t smell, but when the bacteria on your skin mix with your sweat, it causes an odour. Bacteria are able to grow very fast on polyester materials compared to cottons. Graphene has a self-charging property when bacteria interact the anti-microbial properties of Graphene, does not allow the bad smell producing bacteria to stay on the fabric.
  • UV Protection :  Because of its fine powder form, that has a higher surface area and higher absorption cross section of UV rays at lower dosage. This ensures preservation of colour for long interval into the cloths specially in cotton, Silk and woollen cloth. It will block UAV (400-320mn) UAB (320-280nm) as well as UVC (280-200nm) which is also harmful for our skin.
  • Sweat Wicking :  The Hexagonal shape of graphene, provides it a high Moisture Wicking capability which is important to move sweat away from the body. Tested as per AATCC 197 standards it is able to wick 2in in 3 min and upto 5in in 30mins. Actually, it is able to absorb the sweat within a second, and keeps it dry.
  • Moth Protection :  Clothes moths are pests that can destroy fabric and other materials. They feed exclusively on animal fibres, especially wool, fur, silk, feathers, felt, and leather. These materials contain keratin, a fibrous protein that the worm-like larvae of the clothes moth can digest. GRAPH-TEX help to stop the certation of the moth in the fabric such as woollen, Silk, Carpet Fur etc. The conductive nature of the material would allow for integrated circuitry to be woven into fabric.
  • Anti-Bacterial – Anti-Viral :  GRAPH-TEX help to make the fabric anti-bacterial as well as anti-viral because graphene introduce toxicity mechanisms to the bacterial membrane by causing oxidative stress through the production of superoxides. They can also physically disrupt cellular strain with sharp edges or cell entrapment that limits bacterial movement.
  • Heat Dissipation :  It allowing homogeneous distribution of the heat produce by the human body in cold weather and a heat dispersion effect in hot weather. It also keeps an even body temperature during the physical activities.
